Kate sure has an eclectic background in food; she has been chef, front of house, accountant, restaurateur and marketeer and held various senior food management roles for David Jones and Coles.This all-round experience in both prestige and everyday markets is one of the key reasons why she’s such a master at what she does.Kate has a stack of them, including: 30% sales increase and $? million reduction in wages by spearheading process improvements, new customer service models and incentives. A food strategy that minimised GFC market share loss for food retailers which enabled them to achieve healthy performance while others around them folded. A food court strategy that increased usage from 18% to 19%.
