George Yung-hsing Wu，著名的胃腸、肝病學(xué)家，病毒學(xué)家。美國(guó)康涅狄格大學(xué)，消化中心肝病科主任，教授。Wu教授獲得過許多的學(xué)術(shù)榮譽(yù)和獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，主要包括American Liver Foundation Research Prize（1982年），NIH Research Career Development Award（1986-1991年），American Gastroenterological Association/ Industry Research Scholar Award（1985-1988年），American Gastroenterological Association/ Gastroenterology Research Group Young Scientist Award （1990年），Chinese American Medical Society Scientific Award（1992年）等。Wu教授還被選為多個(gè)國(guó)家科學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)的成員，包括American Society for Clinical Investigation（1989年），Association of American Physicians（1995年），F(xiàn)ellow of the American Gastroenterological Association（2010年）等。Wu教授曾參與美國(guó)國(guó)立衛(wèi)生研究院的9項(xiàng)研究，并主持其中2項(xiàng)?，F(xiàn)已發(fā)表140多篇高水平科研論文，出版10本專著，參與編寫了100多篇專著章節(jié)和摘要，獲得了10項(xiàng)專利授權(quán)，在各大國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議上做學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告200多次。Wu教授目前擔(dān)任Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology主編，Journal of Digestive Diseases的高級(jí)副主編，Springer出版社的"Contemporary Gastroenterology"叢書編輯，同時(shí)還是許多國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)期刊的編委會(huì)成員，包括著名的Gene Therapy and Regulation, World J. Gastroenterology, Journal of Digestive Diseases等。
